How does ViceVersa handle moving files and folders? For example the Smith Folder and associated files.
PC1 c:\current\Smith is moved to c:\old\Smith
PC2 has c:\current\Smith
PC3 has c:\current\Smith
Will ViceVersa move c:\current\Smith to a new folder c:\old\Smith on PC2 and PC3 on the next sync?
Does ViceVersa move the folder Smith or does it delete c:\current\Smith and copy to a new folder c:\old\Smith?
Thanks in advance for your help. |

Hello
The synchronization method in ViceVersa PRO will delete c:\current\Smith and copy to a new folder c:\old\Smith on PC2 and PC3.

Is there a way to move only newer files without deleting unmatched files on the target? I use that sort of operation with removable media such as camera images. |

Thanks. I believe Replication will copy the files, but still leave the original files on the source. I was looking for an operation that will move the files. Maybe it can be done in two operations, but I haven't figured that out yet, other than manually deleting the copied files. |
