|

I've been using ViceVersa Free v.1.0.3 (on XP Pro) successfully for some time now, however it's recently started giving a fatal error upon clicking any of the options in the 'method' drop down box (I believe this to be as a result of the latest windows update).
I've upgraded to v.1.0.4 which doesn't produce the same error, however upon comparing the two folders it's now telling me that pretty much everything is different in the source and target boxes, yet I know this not to be the case. I'm comparing using size+time stamp, and am ignoring the three timestamp options (2 secs, 60 secs and 1 hour differences).
Any help much appreciated!
Thanks,
Matt |

Hello, can this be due to the folder casing? i.e. capital letters vs. small caps? this is a known problem in ViceVersa Free (that we'll fix). ViceVersa PRO and PLUS do not have the same issue.

Yes that would explain it, as when v.1.0.3 used to copy files over it would rename everything to being completely lower case. It's just a little surprising that this worked fine before and now doesn't seem to work in v.1.0.4. |
