|
|
I need to synchronize a hard drive over the internet between 2 computers. One is at my home, and one in my office. I would like to maintain it so the files are the same in both spots at all times.
Is ViceVersa the right tool to do this?
Must I use a VPN, or SSH in some way to do it over the internet, and do it securely? From what I understand I may need a VPN to do this securely over the internet. If so, what are my options? Using a Hardware VPN like a router? Or something like OpenVPN? I've used the Windows VPN and found it not to be very reliable.
Help appreciated. |

Hello
yes, VV needs a VPN tunnel to work over the web. You can use a hardware solution or a software solution, such as OpenVPN.
thanks! _________________ --
