I've forgotten my VVEngine password and can't get into it to change some settings. Is there a way to clear the VVEngine password to create a new one?

Hello

you can remove the password by editing the file VVEngine.xml and remove the password tag.

thanks

I've located the file...

C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Application Data\VVEngine\
where <user> is the account running VVEngine.

and have checked for any additional files by that name. I've removed the <PWD></PWD> tag, saved, restarted VVEngine Windows service, and still am prompted for a password when I open VVEngine Settings. Is there something additional that I need to alter?

****UPDATE****
I got it to work. I had vvengine.xml files under several users but the proper one to change was under "Default User"
