Does ViceVersa support using environmental variables, such as %USERNAME%, in the Source or Target paths? I have not been able to get this to work, for example using C:\Documents and Settings\%USERNAME%\My Documents.

Yes, but you will need to use <USERNAME> instead of %USERNAME%, <> instead of %. The reason we have used < instead of % is that % is a valid character for a file name while < is not. So c:\%USERNAME%\ could be a real folder on a disk. Not so for c:\<USERNAME>\.
