I have been running ViceVersa on XP as a service for a while and it has worked fine. I recently bought a new computer running Vista and reinstalled ViceVersa. Whenever the service tries to start I get a run time error (Microsoft Visual C++ runtime error).

When I bring up the VVLauncher app and press start I get this error message. When I then press stop the icon appears in the windows tray and it works fine but have to do this every day after it has crashed.

Has anyone seen this before or no of a solution?

Thanks

David

I am running as an admin user (I have turned off the UAC). I do not have either of these files on my machine! As it happens today was the first time that I turned on my machine and I didn't get the error message.

I have the same problem with a Vista Machine overhere. Did you get a solution for this problem yet?
Despite the error-message the service is working fine overhere but I like to get rid of the error as well.

No, I never got it fixed. It is strange because sometimes I boot up and it works fine but the majority of times it fails.
