Hi!
I have tried VV2 Pro build 2015 for a couple of weeks now and I´m very happy with it and I am going to purchase it. Two questions thou.
1. More than 256 caracters in the path creates error, and I´ve tried the solution presented i FAQ without result. Also I read that it shold not be a problem in 2015. I´m running a backup from NAS to NAS. VV2 i running on a laptop with XP, in the same network-switch as both NAS.
2. Is there any advantadge/disadvantage running it on a laptop as described above vs running it on the server and is there any functions I miss by doing that.
Thanks/Niclas

Did you use \\?\ or \\?\UNC\ (for UNC path) for both source and target folders?

No, it can be run on either. When installed on a server VV adapts for the server environment, but to backup NAS to NAS it makes no difference.

thanks
