Sorry to be a pain in the butt about this but we really need this fix.
One client, for instance, uses Outlook with PST files. Our backup is set to keep 3 copies of those in the archive, but because the deletion is not working we have over a month of PSTs that have not been deleted which are about 500 MB per user. This client has 30 staff, so 30 X 500MB X 35days has worked out at half a TB of storage that we're wasting at the moment. Shortly we will run out of space and have to manually go through the archives deleting unwanted copies. |

Hi,
I've got the same problem deleting files with a unc path in it.
Do you already have a fix for it?
Thanks,
Egbert |

Frankly, we have had enough. We have approx 60 sites using VV, but we will not be moving to the next version where we can and instead be moving to other products.
It is an absolute disgrace that this issue which I first posted last September was never fixed.
Every day our logs are full of Exit Code 3's, so the logs are worthless - we have to manually check if the backups worked ok.
You will never build a successful product if you can't even help out the customers who take the time to register on your forum and let you know about the problems that they've found. |

Yes, but our keys don't work with 2.5.
So is 2.5 going to be a free upgrade? If not, then the problem was never fixed. After all people can't be expected to pay for fixes. New features, yes; fixes, no. |
