Hi,

I been testing the above two software for 5-days now, I setup such;

Drives within my Server PC (running Windows Server 2003 R3)
- E drive is shared (security, everyone can read/write)
- D drive is not shared (security, no external user read/write)
- C drive is not shared (security, no external user read/write)

Source is E (the whole drive, 150GB)
Target is D (the whole drive, 150GB)
Archive to C (one folder within C, have free space > 150GB)

Setting;
- replicate(update)
- source to target is there is any changes in source
- archive the file from target to archive folder
- use smart archive.
- VVEngine enabled this profile to run every 10min or upon changes detected.

Problem
Some time VVEngine report conflict, saying source and target is changed, need to reset manually.

Sometime this problem across few file (6-conflict is the larges I found)

My question;
No one can edit/change target expect login via server PC (which controlled by my userID and password), so how this posible

Total file size is less then 800MB

Is there anyway the VVEngie software can email me when there is conflict within profile

Do email me (info at mypromosys.com) if need more information.

Regards
M.Pathma
BTW - I am still using trial version, very much like to buy. please help to solve this problem

Hello

A conflict is when source and target file timestamps have both changed since last sync.... check the conflict file timestamps to see if they have indeed changed.

If you are running a replicate(update) job, you do not need to tracking database, you can switch it off (it is in the profile settings -> execution). Switching off the database switches off conflict reporting too.

You can setup e-mail notifications, please see

thanks
