instead of 20080908 0900 (omitting the date just entering the time).
I have 2 profiles which run every 2 hours on specific days. One runs on Mon,Wed,Fri,Sun the other on Tue,Thu,Sat (each profile is set NOT to run on the days it is not supposed to run, ie checkboxes are selected under 'do not run:....'). VVEngine is setup as a service.
I recently tried to change the start time of each of the profiles to be 0900 -- however when i change the start time to 0900 without pre-pending the date VVEngine crashes.
If i put in the date plus the start time (so i enter 2008-09-10 09:00 instead of just 0900) -- the profile starts at that particular time on that particular date, however the next day in the schedule that profile runs does not start at 0900 but at 0100 (2 hours from the last time it ran -- the last time each profile runs is 11PM two days before -- since each profile is set to run every other day). Please look at screenshots below of start time and next runs.
Please let me know how i set a profile to start at a particular time each day combining this with RUN EVERY 2 HOURS, DO NOT RUN ON SPECIFIC DAYS.
Please see attached schedule which works but does not start at 0900 the the next scheduled day.
please look at this link for a screenshot of the settings -- this forum is not allowing me to post an image (even with the proper tags) pictureposter.audiworld.com/114636/temp_3.jpg |

Hello
I think it is currently not possible to start at 9:00 every day and run every 2 hours. I is only possible to run every 2 hours. One of the improvements we would like to add is to have a black-out period, e.g. do not run between 00:00 and 08:59 ; which would solve your case.
thanks _________________ --

was this product not based on windows task? windows task allows a user to run a task every X number of minutes starting at a certain time.
This is what i used prior to installing VVEngine -- the only problem i had is that Windows task would not always start (after a reboot for example) and would not notify me that it had not started.
It would seem rather odd that a basic feature such as start at a certain time every day would not be available with this product. Please advise if there is a work around or when a fix will be available. |
