|
|
Odd issue I've started seeing - once a week on average one or two profiles get "altered" - the only change is the folders to copy to/from are removed from the profile. I got tired of recreating profiles so I backed them all up and just restore from the backup folder.
Any ideas? Anyone else seeing this? |

Errr no, I'm on 2014. I didn't realize I was slightly behind. Aight, I'll upgrade, then give it time.
Thanks. |

Also upgraded VVEngine to 1.1 build 7, I think I was on plain old 1.1 before. |

Sure. It usually only happens once a week.
Another thought - what if it's only happening when the box is (abruptly) shut down to be backed up? If it's powered off w/o going through the normal shutdown process, is there any way, shape or form that VV could be corrupting the profile? It's not opening the file in read/write mode is it? Just read? |

How about VV Engine? Does it ever open the profiles in anything other than read-only mode? |

No. But in the latest VV build 2015 we have changed a couple of lines where VV could have changed the profile if VV was running in automatic mode and the same profile would also be run in manual mode while running in automatic mode ..... so maybe the issue you were seeing has now been fixed. _________________ --
