every time i boot the computer that has installed vv and vv engine, it throws an error that vv launcher has encountered an error and runtime had to teminated in an unusual way.

how do i fix this?

I did an uninstall and reinstall. it configured correctly like the tutorial says, but then when i rebooted, i got the same error

To add: the above posts are referencing the latest vvengine and viceversa pro versions, downloaded fresh 2 days ago.

It all went in fine and tested good the first day, but the second day vvengine threw the error during Windows startup.

vicepres: you should post the error codes and the event log message as well. If you can determine the exact version/build number of both vvengine and viceversa pro, that will help them figure this out...

Also tell them the OS and SP level.

deletd the file VVEngine.log , VVEngine.db and VVEngine.xml. Then restarted VVengine. the application launched. rebooted machine, and the same errors came back.

error message in event log: faulting application, vvlauncher.exe, version 2.0.0.3. faulting module version 2.0.0.3. fault address 0x0009fffe1.
