Hello!
Following problem:
I have a server, with a microsoft virtual pc running on it.
I want to backup the harddisk-file of the virtual pc with ViceVersa.
But it don't work correctly. The target will not be updated because the filesize and timestamp doesn't change, but i added files on the virtual pc..
with CRC comparision it takes too long because the file is about 8 gb. so what can i do? can i tell viceversa to backup everytime without comparision? can i compare the "last access" timestamp instead of the "last change" ?
please help me!
thank in advanced

Hello
currently the only way to copy a file that did not change its "modified" timestamp is to run a script before execution which deletes the target file.

We support customers via e-mail and this forum.

Use a different folder for N and M on the USB drive. E.G. X:\driveN\ and X:\driveM\ otherwise VV will remove from the USB drice some file to make a mirror of the source.

volume shadow copies are not supported for non-local volumes (e.g. USB drive). Set the option to use VV , under profile settings -> advanced settings, only for source (you probably have it set on both right now)
