I have two profiles on a Vista desktop that syncs files between this PC and my XP Pro laptop.

Both profiles work fine under VV Pro.

Howver only one profile works fine within VVengine!! The error in VVengine involves a "Folder not accessible: " on the source (XP Pro system) problem within seconds of each time that this profile is enable.

To get the second profile to work I need to disable the Windows firewall - only then will the profile execute the same way in VVengine as it does in VV Pro.

This is starting to do my head in!! Please help!

Thanks,

Craig

Hello

What are the sources and targets for the 2 profiles?
And which scheduling settings are you using for each profile in VVEngine.

thanks

Hi VV Support:

I'm having the same problem, basically...

I upgraded my laptop to Vista, and I have a profile that runs on my WinXP desktop VV that connects through a wired network connection to backup my laptop's work files.

I can no longer get VV Engine to connect to the "My Documents" folder of my laptop through the profile, even though I can open Win Explorer, go to "My Network Places" and connect to the laptop source folder with no problems....

I am not using the Windows Firewall, but rather TrendMicro PC-cillin on both the desktop and laptop....that has not changed since before I upgraded the laptop to Vista.....

???

What error message do you get? What scheduling options did you setup for this profile in VVEngine?

thanks
