Good morning,

I have registered ViceVersa Pro as I find it a very clear program to back-up and synchronize data across my HD's.

I have a conflict fixing issue though that I can explain as follows.

1/ I run MS-Money. And when it stops it produces a backup file. Initially the master file was on D: and the back up on S:. Then, because I now use ViceVersa and D: is my source and S: and H: are my targets, I have changed the back up so that it's on D: and made some cleansing only keeping the master file on D:

2/ Following this I had a conflict with VVP which I solved by copying the 2 files from D: to S: and H:. In that case VVP finds they are all identical and do nothing which is normal.

3/ However, after I run MSMoney again and it updates the 2 files on D:, and I run VVP, VVP finds a conflict of these 4 files between D: and S: and H: In checking the source/target status I see that files are the same size and time stamp is more recent on D: than on S: which I consider normal. D: shows a + sign which is correct. However VVP raises them as conflict errors. How can I fix this ?

Thank you for any clue about this.

Sorry with my question. I think I have found a way to fix. Just by chance.

I explain what I did below.

I changed my profile to have a one to one backup instead of a one to two, ie. D: to S: and it worked ok.

I then did the same with another profile to back up D: to H:

And I double checked in running MSMoney again and then saving with the One to two profile... and it worked ok too.

May be there is a bug in the 1 to many case (?)
