I have VV setup to replicate to the Target when a file is changed - Now the question is does it update the file that was changed or does it go through the whole folder again

Hello

If you plan to run the profiles in real-time (i.e. as soon as file changes are detected) and the 4 folders contain many files (e.g. > 50,000 each folder) separating into 4 profiles is quicker; in this way, if a file change is detected only that folder pair is run (you could use VVengine to schedule the 4 profiles http://www.tgrmn.com/web/vvengine/vvengine.htm).

Otherwise it does not make too much difference.

thanks
