Hi Guys,
Feedback: Consider posting a roadmap thread. Explain in the beginning of the thread that it is not a committed roadmap but suggested. And then *maybe* as you commit to items, post a commited roadmap with expected implementation timeframes...
I bet this level of communication would/could convince fence-riders to purchase the product if they are having doubts between VVP and other similar products. _________________ bst rgds

This is absolutely vital. I am currently waiting for two very important (to us) updates to ViceVersa, but have absolutely no idea when to expect them or how the development team are getting on. |

Same here, having no word on this from the ViceVersa team for a long time makes me think to change the backup software. |

Hello,
We prefer not to make the ViceVersa / VVEngine RoadMap public, but please write to support@tgrmn.com if interested. Please do not forget to include specific features you would like to see included.
thanks! _________________ --

I understand you want to keep the road map private. I have done as you suggested (with two links to bug fixes I require), but so far no response from the support. Actually I have never got any response from the support (and I doubt every e-mail got caught in your spam filter) although I am a licensed user. That's another reason for me to change the backup software. |

In this industry, when there is no sign of a major update since 3 years, it does not sound good. One wonders if the product is still under development, and one might be tempted to switch to another solution where one sees some regular progress.
At least this is how I feel. This being said, I am not currently searching for another solution... |

Hello Adequat,
We did not have any major new release of ViceVersa recently, but we did release several minor updates, including the VVEngine add-on and also an update to make ViceVersa PRO compatible with Vista and Windows Server 2008.
ViceVersa is very much alive and under development! We will include major new features during 2009.
thanks! _________________ --

In December I received the response from the support that the new version with the fixes I require will be out in December or in January. I think I've lost the hope by now... |
