|
|
Hello
I have my desk top with a second hard drive and also a 1 trb external hd. The problem I see is that I have also installed this program on the church PC to sync the recorded messages that are stored there so we do not loose them. Now when I sync to my desk top I do not want to include this portion of the hard drive and the same goes for sync the church I do not want to put all my personal stuff on thier PC. So how do I do this the easiest way?
Thanks for your time

Hello
you could use an exclude subfolder filter to exclude a specific subfolder from the synchronization.

Hello and thank you for your reply. How do i go about setting up a filter? and what is the diffrence between source and target? I ask that because if I sync and make them basically the same then it should not matter which is source and which is target. Or is this think not right?
Thanks again for your time.

Hello, in synchronization there is no difference between source and target, you are correct. You can setup a subfolder filter in ViceVersa PRO, under profile settings ->subfolder filters. You can exclude a subfolder that you do not want to sync. thanks _________________ --
