Our process drops PDF files into the target directory for VV. Does VV wait for the file to be older than x amount of time before it copies it?
VV may not be our issue, but need to understand if VV would try to move a file while the OS is trying to copy it to the folder?
Thank you,

We have each profile setup in VV, and use VVEngine to scheudle the jobs. Currently they are setup for 30 min interval. What settings are you saying might impact what we are having issues with?
Thank you,

I was thinking if you setup VVEngine to run as soon as file changes are detected, ViceVersa may start copying the file as soon as it appears in the monitored folder. thanks _________________ --

No, we are not using that option. I did start using the CHC check for the sync. Can you offer any assistance to our issue? What should we be checking?
Thank you,

When a VV profile starts, VV starts comparing files in source/target folders and then starts copying files. If a file is still accessed and written to by another program, VV gives an error for that file and skips to the next file. However, if VSS is activated in the profile settings:
http://www.tgrmn.com/web/kb/item33.htm , ViceVersa copies the file even if still accessed by other programs.
