Accelerated synchro thanks to snapshots

Given a source and a target folder. Each one has snapshot (updated manually or not). The idea is an option that would order VV to compare the snapshots **before** comparing the folders. And to do the effective synchronization in a second step, **if** the snapshots differ.
I's common that I have deep folders containing hundreds of thousand of files, not changing often at all, and comparing them takes a huge amount of time (most of the time to perform nothing since there is no change).
My idea would save so much time!
