I need to make a mirror copy of a HD that is used in an industrial application. The original machines HD died after nearly 3 years of constant running in my factory. I need to be sure to copy all of the PLC files exactly as they are written and in the exact same locations. As well, all the drivers for the PLC board, monitor, keyboard, mouse, etc. have to be copied exactly. I think mirroring will get this done for me. The original HD is a Samsung 4.32GB drive and nearly impossible to find. Would a larger, modern drive work as long as it fits into the mounting brackets of the PC? There is no data that needs to be stored or copied just the XP software, PLC software and all the misc. files that come along with XP. No internet or networking on this machine.
Thanks for your help.
\p.s. I also sent an email to your TS with much the same info.

Hello,
I also replied to the e-mail you sent.
If you want to make the mirrored disk bootable, I think you would be better off using some disk imaging software. ViceVersa does not make the mirror bootable.
