I downloaded this program today, and it seems very nice, but ... I cannot get it to work unattended. I'm talking about copying/synchronizing a couple hundred thousand files to an external USB connected hard disk.

I get two queries which stop the copying process.

"Can not open [file_name]. The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process." BTW, I wish to note that the option in advanced settings "Try to copy files that are in use by other applications" is not checked.) I press ignore and continue, but this means I have to be there AND I WANT TO GO TO SLEEP.

I also get "Would you like to overwrite the file [file_name]?" and can see no way to change this in settings.

I must be missing something ... because this means you cannot do the backup/synchronization unattended, and that does not make sense.

Hello

In the profile settings -> execution , enable the "No Confirmations..." option.
If you schedule the profile (i.e. with VVScheduler, VVLauncher or VVEngine), this option is enabled for you by default.
But if you run the profile from within ViceVersa (by clicking on "Execution" in the comparison window), then you need to manually enable this option in the profile settings.

thanks!
