It has been three weeks since we sent the following to TGRMN Support. Our trial license has run out and we now have no way of testing anymore.
So too our request for a temporary license has been ignored, even though we have an idea of how to solve the problem for them! We'll tell you our proposed solution if you bother to talk to us, a potential big customer.

Situation: We are evaluating Vice Versa 2 (64-bit) for company-wide adoption but have been trying to solve a major problem with it. We've been trying a long time now but you have failed so far to be able to tell us a solution.
We are now at day 28 of 30 for the evaluation license. We are officially request a new temporary license code or a permanent one just for our test machine. Please advise as to whether you will give us a license key and when you come up with a solution for the problem. Also, please note that we mean not only to use Vice Versa 2 company-wide but we also mean to recommend it to all our many clients if we can ever get it working. Also, I am an Adjunt Professor and have been telling hundreds of students about your product but have also had to admit that there is a problem. It is in everybody's best interest to make sure this gets resolved, so please make us a priority, please.
Problem Review: Vice Versa 2 (64-bit) cannot delete files during backup (Make target exactly the same as source), which often calls for deletion of files that are on target but not in source.
Note 1 - We are NOT sending deleted files to the Recycle Bin.
Note 2 - No networked drives are involved. One target drive is a USB external drive (G) and one is a fire-wire external drive (I).
Note 3 - The logged-in session is an Administrator-type user.
Note 4 - Vice Versa 2 (64-bit) is running under that user's account and thus would have administrative privileges.

Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. Please respond at your earliest convenience.
Sincerely,
Erik |
