|

Hi,
I am trying to sync 2 folders - one on my laptop and the other on my desktop. They are networked together.
I deleted and moved a heap of stuff from my PC and want ViceVersa to update this folder on my laptop but I get the following error:
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Cannot delete folder "\\Aj2\my documents\Business Stuff\Website\Oscommerce Pluggins\UltraPics_2.04\catalog\includes\modules\". The directory is not empty
------------------------------------------------------------------------
I've also tried to just back up the folder on my PC to the laptop but get the same error.
I have ticked "Include Subfolders". Currently I'm not using the archive option but would like to use this in the future.
Thanks in advance for any help! |

Hello
usually this error happens when ViceVersa needs to delete a folder in target or source to match the other side, but the folder is not empty becuase it contains excluded files. Is this the case?

Can you try checking with Windows Explorer if there are files in the folder to be deleted and which files are those? thanks _________________ --

There are files in the folder to be deleted. It definitely hasn't deleted anything yet.
The files to be deleted are images, word docs, excel and normal folders. No system folders or anything like that. |

ctrl-alt-delete (task manager), find explorer.exe, and end process.
File, New Task (Run...), and browse for the file or folder you want deleted, and right click and delete.
Press cancel, then File, New Task and type explorer.exe, the press enter. |
