I have the following Problem. Our company is split into 3 buildings and we use 3 Servers win 2008 enterprise R2. we use the DFS from microsoft.
at the moment we have only one set of data split on the 3 servers.
but for a reason i need to have the same data (Projects) also on one of the two other servers. so i tried the FRS of MS but there seems to be a Problem with the data because some folders are not copied.

now i tried VV which i baught some time ago. but i have some Problems:

\\?\UNC\Dallas\Projects$ does not work.
I tried to make it via mapped Network drive. but then i received a message that the volume shadow function is not working with the shared drive.

also i see a lot of trafic. is there a compleate compare of all files every eg. 5 minutes???
or is the tracking database also use tu regognize if a file changes???

Greetings

WUlf
