VVengine used to run great. Something has changed and now will not run. Now when I click on the icon in the taskbar it will load in the browser as a blank white screen or it will show properly with correct type faces and layout and then in 3-10 seconds go to the screen that says 'Unable to connect to VVEngine ..' and sometimes -in a few seconds- will automatically go back to the previous screen or a blank screen - if I hit reload browser it can be the right screen but the type is all text format-not web like. I have tried to completely uninstall VVengine from the control panel-remove programs and by removing ALL references in the registry to 'VVengine' and ALL on the computer several times. It still will not install correctly. VVengine as a service is running/started.
Any ideas?
Thank You

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-16"?>
<SETTINGS>
<HTTP>
<CLIENTS>127.0.0.1|192.168.2.101</CLIENTS>
</HTTP>
</SETTINGS>

I have tried many addresses including just 127.0.0.1 and combinations-my computer on the LAN is 192.168.2.101- - all act basically the same-

If you wish I will change it back to the original address and try running VVengine and post those also

Forrest

Hello

please try the following:

- shut down VVEngine
- Rename the file VVengine.xml into VVengine.xml.old and VVengine.log into VVengine.log.old
- restart VVengine and try connecting from the same machine where VVengine is running

thanks!

No improvement-nothing different. I changed the refresh time to 0 seconds (unlimited?) and could add a profile but when I click on enable it goes to a white screen so basically the same as before -cant run anything. I dont know if it will help but I can send you what it looks like (text like not web like) and the info in the VVengine settings of the main screen when its showing the profiles. I have also done a computer restart hoping for changes.
