|

Hi,
I am evaluating ViceVersa PRO. It looks nice - very nice. But I have one problem. I am using a Linux machine running SAMBA as file server. I have a backup on this file server. And - the files are either the same time or one second newer on the SAMBA file server. I assume this is some kind of round off error when storing the the time stamp at the Linux machine.
I can of course use CRC instead of time stamps - but that is very slow.
So - any kind of solution? |

Hi , there is an option in ViceVersa PRO to ignore up to 2 seconds in file timestamps to work around this issue, the option is in "profiles settings -> comparison"
thanks _________________ --
