I'm getting these pretty regularly at the moment with a few of my backup/archiving profiles. Basically, VVPro runs the comparison stage, and then as soon as it's about to copy, brings up an "unhandled exception" error, and crashes.

It also creates a couple of files and instructs the user to send them to TGRMN. I've done this twice, with profiles etc., but so far have had no response.

I'd be extremely grtateful for any advice, as I currently can't execute a large portion of our daily backups.

Many thanks in advance

Jules

Hello, yes, we received the .dmp and the .rpt file, thank you very much. We are checking them, I will reply to your e-mail as soon as our analysis is finished.

I have never received a response on this issue, and would be most grateful for some support.

Many thanks

Hi - you have e-mail .... sorry for delay.... we need to know if VV is crashing always on the same MAC file or not. If we can pinpoint the issue to a specific file it will help us making some progress on debugging this issue. thank you.

Hi, and thank you for your reply and email.

I have sent you an email with the latest file whicih causes the crash. Previously the crashes were mainly with DS_Store files from a Mac on our network. The current file is a .fxb file (VST plugin preset bank), so the answer is no, it's not limited to one file type.

Please let me know if there is any additional information I can provide to help you troubleshoot this issue.

Kind regards

Jules
