I have a very strange but reproducible error:

I am running the MSVDM (Virtual Desktop Manager) PowerToy on Windows XP Pro (SP2). I have setup the tool in a way that I can switch between the 4 virtual screens by using {WINDOWS+[NUM_PAD_1] to [NUM_PAD_4]}. Now whenever I run ViceVersa and try to switch to anothe rscrenn I get an "out of memory" error from ViceVersa. Hence it just continues to work properly and the backup/sync even with VSS is just fine. So I assume this is a bogus error message.

Anyways - this is reproducible.

BTW: I have several software that cannot manage if I switch to another virtual screen. But that's *not* a fault of the PowerToy software... MS said so.

Ps.: And no, I don't want to uninstall the powertoy / use another software product like that. It's just very neat, free and I love it.

Hello , what happens once the message pops up, do you click on OK and ViceVersa keeps running? thanks

nothing special. ViceVersa just continues what is has done before... either processing a sync and/or just waiting for user input. As I said: It just works fine after this message. That's why I believe it's a bogus message.
