I've installed on dozens of systems over the last years with never more than an easily solvable glitch, including Win98s. This weeks has me stumped.
Everything installed fine but the Task will NOT run at all, either via scheduler or manually. No Output window, No Log, No nothing. It just refuses to run.
I use Process Explorer to monitor and even though VVsheduler is present, there is NO activity when I "Run Task".
BUT, If I go to "Show Comparison" and Execute .. it runs perfectly. WTF?
I have a simple setup - Just 1 Folder from C:\ to D:\
I've tried stand-alone, Networked etc etc etc
Any ideas?

Check the VVScheduler log (access from the VVScheduler menu)... any useful info in there?

No logs or entries are created when viceversa fails to run.
The log that is created from the "vvsheduler - show comparison" path shows a correct event, naturally.
One more Interesting thing I found - If I try to create a shortcut from vvscheduler, the operation immediately aborts with "can't create a log file".
The PC is under win982e FAT32, so there are no security issues.
I pretty well run exactly the same setup every time I install them.
