Hi,

For a client I have a challenge. They have 2 servers with LOTS of files (100.000+). They are connected through a relatively slow link, which is the reason they have two file servers (one is Win2003 R2, the other SBS2003)
The idea is to have a share on each, which each local branch office can access locally. The share should then be synchronized in near-realtime between the two offices.
I have installed a trial of ViceVersa Pro + VVEngine on one server, which is set to replicate on file changes (local D drive and UNC share)
But VVPro always does a full scan before replicating, resulting in VERY long lead times before a changed/added/deleted file is synchronized.

How can the setup be configured so that I have near-instant replication? Could it be accomplished by having an installation on each server? Other options?

Thanks in advance.

Best regards,
-Allan Jensen
