We are using Mirror Source to Target to Backup or to Transfer files from one machine to another. Unfortunately we regularly get an error message
An argument has been encountered.
The log indicates
The source has been checked
Sorting
The Target has been checked
Sorting
Comparing ...
Compare Done.
and then we recieve the error. Clicking OK on the error brings up the comparison but it is blank.
I suspect that the problem is due to the size of the directory concerned, it contains 1.3M files and is over 3TB.
Also we have long filenames/paths. I have tried filtering to
just do specific file types but it appears that ViceVersa enumerates all
files before filtering. |

Hello, each profile can handle approx 1 million files. Are you able to split the work across 2 or more profiles? thanks _________________ --

The directory does have many subdirectories but these are constantly canging as new ones are added and old ones removed. ViceVersa does not appear to accept wild cards in source/target paths which would help. |
