Truncated folder name

I am currently using the demo of VV Pro 2 ( Build 2.0.0.8 )

I have used to software to transfer files from one Windows 2000 server to another. While there were no errors during transfer I have noticed that a couple of folder names have been truncated. See my example below.

source name : MC1600 Big Smile Hostess Leaflet
Target name : MC1600~1

Just to confuse the matter a bit. The files / folders are all Macintosh files. Viewing the folders form a PC all looks fine. It's only when viewing from the Macintosh compuiters that there are problems.
