What would be the best way to sync folders between 3 computers?
If a folder is deleted in A, it should be deleted from B and C,
If a folder is deleted in B, it should be deleted from A and B, etc...
Same for folder/file creation and modifications. Question Question Shocked

Wouldn't running 3 differnet Sync cause a "race" condition eventually or occassionally?
Can I run three differnet profiles?

I'm running a single profile now with multiple sources/targets and
when I delete a file on B, it's deleted on A but gets copied back from C
when it's suppose to be deleted from C also?

The sources/targets is set now as:
A:\folder1 -> B:\Folder1
A:\folder1 -> C:\Folder1
A:\folder1 -> B:\Folder2
A:\folder1 -> C:\Folder2

OPPS.... Embarassed
The sources/targets is actually set up as

A:\folder1 -> B:\Folder1
A:\folder1 -> C:\Folder1
A:\folder2 -> B:\Folder2
A:\folder2 -> C:\Folder2

No, it would not cause a "race" condition, each profile runs independentely.

To solve this, separate the single profile into 2

One profile with:
A:\folder1 -> B:\Folder1
A:\folder2 -> B:\Folder2

The other profile with:
A:\folder1 -> C:\Folder1
A:\folder2 -> C:\Folder2

You can schedule them using the VVengine add-on:

thanks

Hello,
I have 2 computers and 1 external USB that acts as a master backup.
I would like to make sure all 3 copies are always up to date.
What would you recommend?

Is it possible to use 'Synchronization' method?
How about the tracking database?

Thanks

On each computer setup a synchronization profile vs. the USB drive. Keep the tracking database locally on the PC, not on the USB drive. thanks
