I'm using VVLauncher to copy files from source to target as soon as file changes are detected. I would like VV only to copy the detected file changes, however VV seems to compare source with target first.

Not a very pretty solution if most of the time just one file is added to the source every minute and comparison takes up to 45 minutes! (very large file-list over a rather slow VPN connection). In this case the second added file will take at least 44 minutes to be replicated/copied, which in my case is not good enough.

Any solution to this?

Np! But are we talking weeks, months or years here? This feature is essential for the solution I have in mind, so I hope you understand my reasons for asking you this.

Hello,

I will also be also very interested by this feature.
My folder contains more than 180.000 files and it takes about 40 secondes to compare, when I just want to sync a single 2kB file.

Do you have any date for this features ?

Many thanks,

Fred

This is an important feature, as I would like ViceVersa to constantly monitor my files and copy changed files to my backup location. Has this feature ( "detect but no-rescan") been added? If so, how do I enable it?
