c:\xxxxxx to z:\xxxxxxxx
runs as a scheduled task
come to work this am and the files i was working on last night at 4.30pm are no longer in the c:\xxxxxxxxx directory however they are in the z:\xxxxx (which i hasten to add is a removable drive used as a secondary backup)
How can this be so ??? when i run a compare this am it shows that all the files are in z:\xxxxxxx but the source version has gone ?
Any help/ideas much appreciated. I know i can put them back but why has it done this.

Hi, there is no method in ViceVersa which would remove files from source and copy them to target... Question if you setup a profile log (under profile settings -> execution) check what was logged. thanks!

Yeah my thoughts exactly scheduled task using a set profile. I have just ran the compare again and all of the files in use yesterday are in the target folder.... not in the source folder. I have turned on the logging now and will check. i presume i have to manually copy the files back to source else when it runs tonight it will archive my (REAL SOURCE) files
