Hi
I am trying to use the Vice Versa2 Pro trial version for synchronizing a folder which exists on two servers. After a lot of hurdles I got one of them talk with the other.

The question I have now is it was said that the Vice Versa 2 Pro syncs bi-directional, that means its enough for me to install it on one server and it will sync the folders with changes in both servers. That is not happening, only one way sync is happening. Is bi-directional sync not possible this software? Or should I have the VVLauncher service running on both servers instead of only one? Or there is something else I should be setting.

Its almost decided that we will buy this software, but I want to clear all the cliches first, so once the bi-directional feature works I will buy it right away.

Please reply asap.

Thank You,
Soumya

Hello
the synchronization is bi-directional, but if you want to 'initiate' the sync from each server you need to install ViceVersa on both servers. Otherwise you can install ViceVersa only on one server and start the sync only from there.
thanks!
