Is there any tool that will allow me to open the .tdb file and look at its entries?
Currently i am trying to open the file in notepad and all i see is a list of file names along with random characters.
Thanks |

We do not want to edit the Tracking database. We just want to look at the entries in it. How do we do this ? |

Hello, you can look at the file with an editor, but it won't be very readable... beside file names you will have many "strange" characters that represent file sizes and timestamps. _________________ --

Hi,
We have already tried opening it up with notepad. As you have mentioned that did us little good as all we were able to see was file names. We need to know how we can view a log of when files where added/changed/deleted.
We suspect that VV is somehow deleteing files off our server and to confirm this we need to view a log file to see if VV did actually delete the file and if so when.
It seems like we have to wait 1 day for a response due to the time difference. Can you please be as detailed as possible in your next response. |

Hello, the best way is to setup a profile log file, under cahnge profile settings -> execution. The log file will contain detailed information on all operations performed by ViceVersa, including a summary status of all files before and after synchronization / backup. thanks _________________ --
