|
|
I love ViceVersa so far, working with the demo. The only problem that I'm running into is that I can't figure out how to sync just a single file. I don't need the other 100 files in a certain directory - I just need one.
I tried typing the paths manually, at which time VV complains that it can't find the folders.
Am I just overlooking a configuration option somewhere or is VV only able to copy whole directories?

Suppose the file you need to copy/sync is
x:\folderA\subfolderB\file.ext
and you want to copy/sync the file to
y:\folderC\subfolderD\
Setup a ViceVersa profile with
source
x:\folderA\subfolderB\
target
y:\folderC\subfolderD\
then add a file filter (in the profile settings)
include x:\folderA\subfolderB\file.ext
This will only include the file file.ext
