Running ViceVersa Pro Build 2014 & Windows Vista Home Premium

I have installed VVlauncher.exe as a windows service successfully.
I am the administrator.

Problem. Whenever Vista Books, I get a warning baloon box on the bottom right.

"Windows has blocked some startup programs
Windows blockes programs that require permission to run when Windows starts. Click to view blocked programs."

Once I click and OK, it runs fine. I have searched defender and see no way to allow.

How do I get Vista to accept this program as being OK?

Thanks

It is strange because Vista services are not "approved". The latest VVLauncher in build 2014 installs itself to run at start-up in the new Vista Task scheduler, did you check that? thanks!

Hi,

What do you mean by not "approved".

When I go into My Computer, Select Manage and view the active services, I see vvlauncher.exe as being installed and started at bootup.

If this is not an approved Service in Vista, what do you recommend?
Should I uninstall this is a service and just manually run the VVlauncer program? It seems to do the same thing.

Thank you
Howard

I think it is better not to run VVLauncher as a service unless on a server. If you want a service, try VVEngine: http://www.tgrmn.com/web/kb/category9.htm

thanks!
