I am interested in syncronizing data over a VPN between the following:

Source:

Windows 2000 server A
Windows 2000 server B

to

Target

Windows XP Pro (Single PC)

I am only interested in syncronizing the data of changed files each night, to the XP computer. This is for disaster recovery purposes, which is why the target is only an XP Box.

What are the licensing requirements, and does this scenario work?

Thank you in advance.

Hi, you could "push" the changed data from each server to the XP box, you would need 2 licenses to install ViceVersa on both servers. thanks

Why is it better to push from the servers than to pull the data from the xp machine?

If you push you can use VSS http://www.tgrmn.com/web/kb/item33.htm
No, wait, these are 2000 servers so VSS is not available. Then I think you can pull data. You will need to make the folders on the servers 'visible' form the XP machine. thanks
