Hi!

I LOVE ViceVersa, and this seems almost like a dumb question as it goes against most comparison logic, but I'd like to know if it's possible to make VV ignore file names when comparing.

I changed the names of some shows I downloaded to make them look better. I also keep these copied on another drive for backup purposes.

I need to know which ones I've copied and which ones I havent, but VV thinks that because of the file name that it's not the same file when it's exactly the same save for the file name.

Is there a way to make VV completely ignore the files names and maybe even paths and just compare the size, timestamp, and or CRC?

I apologize if this is obvious.. I also searched around quite a bit, but I couldn't find any threads like this.

If this is not possible now.. I think it'd be awesome in a future version.

Thanks!

Hello
that is not possible in VV ... but try to look for a "duplicate file" program on the web, these programs are designed to look for duplicate files.
thanks
