Hi,
Apologies if this has been asked before, (and the double post) but as a newbie I'm having trouble getting my head round a problem and I could do with some advice.
I have two large folders: <Old documents> and <New Documents>
Both have been restored from a backup which has given incorrect date and times to both folders.
I wish to weed out duplicates as carefully as possible, and leave only one folder called <New Documents> with the newer files in.
Now it may be impossible for me to compare dates and times on files, but I guess I can save myself a lot of work by identifying IDENTICAL FILES, and deleting the old one.
Could someone please give me a 1-2-3 instruction list so I don't mess it up.
Thanks |
