When using vvegine to schedule a job that monitors the source and synchronizes when changes are detected, if the source is across our WAN link I am getting a "folder not accessible" message when trying to enable th job. Vice versa has no problems running this profile and accessing the remote source and there are not permission issues. I am using an admin account right now, to ensure this is the case.
The same sort of task seems to work just fine if the source being monitored is "local" to vvengine and the target is across the WAN.
Both servers are part of the same domain and the user account that vvengine is running under has full permissions to both locations. There only appears to be an issue when the source being monitored is remote. Is there a timeout of some sort happening? |

Hello
VVEngine is not always able to monitor a remote folder in a WAN configuration, it depends on the WAN type and connections. In that case VVEngine needs to be installed on the remote machine.
