On Vista 32 between SATA internal hard disks, using Teracopy but I need more speed. I cannot sit around waiting hours to transfer 50GB! What can I do? |

Well that's why I'm asking you! Having browsed all through your site I can find nothing on copy/move speed. Pls can you explain how VV Pro increases speed and what improvements/control/flexibility I might gain? |

THIS IS A HUGE PERFORMANCE ISSUE. I just did a 120 gig backup that took THREE DAMN DAYS !!!!!! THREE DAYS !!!!
And once under way I couldn't bare to stop the process hoping "Just another hour...."
this was hard drive to hard drive on the same ide bus
how about some info...............
speed of program??????>>>>>>>>>>
1) All I REALLY want to do is....like...."X-Copy" xcopy all of c: to d:
but even that doesn't work right.
or
2) What's the best way to EASILY end up with a good copy of all files? That's why I bought V V Pro but damn......three days!!!!
p.s. backup is NOT want I want because I want to end up with "live" "usable" files....not a backup which requires a triple secret Bill Gates password aka restore. |
