Hello

We hope to have a special release fixing this OS X issue during this weekend. We will post the link for the download here. Once we confirm the issue is resolved, we will add the change to the next ViceVersa PRO build.

thanks

Please try this download, which should solve the timestamp issue on OS X:

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx link removed 23/july/08 -> issue was fixed in latest ViceVersa PRO 2 build 2015

Save the zip file to disk, then extract the file viceversa.exe and replace the current viceversa.exe in the installation folder with this new exe.

Files with the timestamp 02/02/1982 02:22:00 should be deleted and then copied again.

Please let us know if this new exe solves the issue you had: if positive we will roll the change in the next ViceVersa build. thank you

I've made this available to the users who need it and am awaiting a report on how this worked. I will update when I know.

Thank you for expediting this.

So this patch worked with the eval version 2 Pro but as I understand it doesn't work with the previous version we're running;

Version 1.3.1.3
Build a10pro-b10pro131c

So am I right in surmising that we must upgrade to the version 2 pro in order to get this functionality back?

Thank you!

This seems to be working correctly on the very small tests I have done.

Kind regards,

This release has been faultless so far. Thanks again for the fix, having been without Vice Versa for so long, I'd forgotten what a magnificent and invaluable tool this software really is.

Hello

Not sure this related to MAC OS date problem, but I tried the fix anyhow. I have MAc and Windows OS running on my network.

I have Iomega NAS device and am trying to synchronize this will a brandnew USB drive. When I transfer a files I get an error message "can not change attributes" (copied below), but the file copies anyhow. With the rpevious version (nuild 2014) the date timestamps of the copied files are all wrong, most often 2.2.1982 (in the original file, these dates were all different, not 1982).

Now today's date and time is copied into the created, modified and accessed fields. This doesn't help. Is there some way to get the dates copied correctly.

Thanks
Hays
