I am running ViseVersa Pro v2 and v1 (I have multiple licenses) and have more than a dozen scheduled synchronization jobs that has been running perfectly for months now. When I recently checked the synchronization logs, however, I discovered that all of the scheduled synchronization jobs stopped running about three weeks ago. There are no error messages, and the jobs all show up as being enabled in both the ViseVersa scheduler as well as the Windows Scheduled Tasks list. All of the jobs seem to run fine when they are manually activated. But none of them run at the appointed pre-scheduled times (even though these prescheduled time to show up correctly in the "next run" column). Any ideas? Thanks. |

Please check each ViceVersa profile log to see if ViceVersa does not run at all or maybe it runs but exits immediately... did you change your account password recently? It could be needed to renter the password in the scheduled profiles. thanks _________________ --

The scheduled synchronization jobs do not run all. There is no record in the logs, and the "last run time" is several weeks ago. There have not been any changes to the usernames or passwords. It may be an issue with Microsoft Scheduler. Upgrading to the new VVEngine, which runs as a service, might solve the problem, but I do NOT want to recreate all of my scheduled synchronization jobs (there are a lot of them). Ideas? Thanks. |

Maybe you check the Windows Task Scheduler log.
From VVScheduler menu, select Tools->Show Windows Task Scheduler Log File
If you start using VVEngine all the tasks need to be recreated as VVEngine does not use the Windows Task Scheduler at all.

I am basically encountering the same problem. Vice Versa will run fine for weeks and then stop. The logs indicate that the user doesn't have the correct password to log on to the source.
The password has not changed. It simply runs fine then stops one day. I have mapped the source drives on the target computer(vice versa is installed on the target computer), and made sure that all possible permissions are enabled.
The quick fix to get the scheduled task up and running is to re-enter the password in windows scheduler and it will run for a few days or weeks then stop again.
Also is VVEngine a free upgrade? I currenly have VVPro 2 |

Hi,
VVScheduler uses the Windows Task Scheduler as the scheduling engine. Maybe you can try to work outside VVscheduler and add tasks with password using the Windows Task Scheduler directly and see if it makes a difference...
VVEngine is an add-on for ViceVersa PRO, it is not a free upgrade,
thanks! _________________ --
