I am enthousiastic about ViceVersa and want to buy the 'pro' version. But that would only make sense, if I can use it to sync my office and my home PC, using a USB-stick. At home, I have all admin rights and can install and register VV, and the same applies to the USB-stick. At the office, however, I have no admin rights at all, and for security reasons we may not install such an 'irregular' program as ViceVersa. So can I 'install' it on the USB-stick, take that with me by train and then sync at the office (and the same way by the end of the day but then 'the other way round'?). At the office PC I am not even allowed to 'look', let alone 'write', at the 'C:\'-drive. I hope it is nevertheless possible to use ViceVersa, it would then solve a major sync-problem to me, and I would buy it instantly.

If you only want to use ViceVersa, without VVLauncher and VVScheduler, it is no problem. Just copy the executable file ViceVersa.exe (take it from the machine where you installed ViceVersa) on the USB drive. When in the office, run ViceVersa.exe from the USB drive. Enter your registration code once, while running ViceVersa.exe in the office and you are done! Smile

thanks

It now works as I would want it. I bought & tried it with the PLUS version, but now I am convinced, I might as well go to the PRO version. Is there a way to update from PLUS to PRO and pay no more than the price difference ($60-$30=$30)?

Thank you in advance, Ernest
