replication very poor optimized

replication is only from source to target but if i replicate from a small source drive containg some directory to a big destinationon drive containg a lot of dir ViceVersa scan all the dir existing on destination and not only the dir existing on source. I replicate from a sorce having hundeds files to a destination disk with milions files so the source scan is done in seconds but target scan need about 1 hour.
