|
|
We've been evaluating Viseversa pro and love it, just bought 6 licenses, but am having a problem when I go to register it.
I get an error message of "your current windows user's rights do not allow registration of ViceVersa for ALL users on this machine. Do you want to register ViceVersa only for current user?"
I've tried it on multiple computers, all accounts have administrator privileges. Tried it with UAC both on and off. I haven't tried hitting yes yet as I don't really want to end up needing to buy 12 licenses rather than 6. Basically I need it to run for the primary user of the computer when they run a backup manually and then as the 'backup' user as part of the nightly tasks.
Help!
Thanks,
Bryan |

Hi Bryan,
thank you for purchasing ViceVersa. You can click "yes", do not worry, the message means that VV is not able to register VV for all users on the PC, which is probably due to not being able to write to the LOCAL MACHINE section of the registry. But it will register VV for the main user of that machine. thanks _________________ --

Ok that gets it working on the main user, but there's the secondary backup user on the computer I also need it to work for.
Suggestions? |

Sure I can login as the backup user and do that. But will there be an issue with licensing and the number of licenses? |
